Gauge: After round 3 piece is 4 inches wide.

DIRECTIONS

Round 1: With CA ch6, join with a sl st to 1st ch to make a loop. Ch3, dc2tog in loop, *ch5, dc3tog * 4 times, ch5, join with a sl st to top of dc2tog. Finish off. 5 ch5 sps, 1 dc2tog, 4 dc3tog

Round 2: With CB join with a sc in any ch5 sp, 5sc in same sp, * fpsc around next st, 6sc in next ch5 sp* 4 times, fpsc around next st, join with a sl st to 1st sc. 30sc, 5fpsc

Round 3: ch3 counts as a dc, dc in next 5 sts, * 3dc in next st, (dc in next 6 sts) * 4 times then ( ) once more. Join with a sl st to top of beg ch3. Finish Off. 40dc
